First description of our project[modifier | modifier le wikicode]

Let's give our meal their nutritional value back[modifier | modifier le wikicode]

1. What Problem do you want to solve ?
The main problem we identified was the following : our food and our meal have lost over half of their nutritional value in 60 years. Why does a 2015 apple bring half less nutriments than a 1950 apple?

After considering different solutions to the problem, we realized that the easiest and the surest way to improve the nutrional intake of our food wasn't to modify the food itself : it's a too big, too complicated problem to solve. So we thaught that adding little, good things to our meals would be the best solution.

That's why we imagined food supplements that will change our view of nutrition. We have to forget old ones, imagine food supplements that taste good and that you like to eat. Forget the pills or drugs-like food supplements.

How will you like them ? We will make them part of your cooking. Just as you ad salt to your food, tomorrow you will ad our food supplements on your meals.

2. Why does this problem exist?
The problem of the lost of nutritional value comes from the big changes that occured in agriculture in the second hald of the XXth century. By choosing seeds and by breeding them to always gain productivity, forgetting diversity and nutritional value.

Also, a lot of the farmland of the earth is over exploited, and loose its richness year after year.

Moreover, poorest people cannot afford the price of an healthy food: they are even more likely to have carences in iron, vitamins, etc.

3. What breakthrough are you commited to creating?
There are two dimensions in our project. The first one is to succeed in filling the gaps in the daily diet. Our ambition is to provide any nutrients needed by the human organism. Each human needs a certain amount of nutrients, which is defined by scientists and is called Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA). We noticed that in our modern society, foodstuffs that are present in our diet have a lack of nutrients. As a result, we want to solve this problem by providing 'something' which could fill in any gaps in our diet. Nevertheless, we want to preserve the structure of our meals: there is a clear friendliness that must be preserved. The project should respect this.In that way, it is different of a recent American project, which provides a product containing every nutrient the human organism needs. As a result, this project enables to replace every food we usually eat only by drinking a beverage. On the contrary, we want to add our project to present structure of meals.

In addition, this aims to limit civizational diseases. Indeed, most of public health issues (cancer, cardivascular diseases, etc.) could be solved by a better alimentation, or at least limited.

Finally, we want to underline an important notion according to us: universality. Indeed, the problem we highlighted is a concern to anyone. The solution that we want to provide must reach anyone.
