First description of our project's idea
SSE Interactive Platform

1. What Problem do you want to solve ?

Currently, entrepreneurs who want to undertake social, sustainable and eco-friendly projects are facing two main issues:

- Lack of money to finance their project

- Lack of human resources and services to serve the operational aspect that will run the business.

Thus, to solve this problem, we want to create an interactive platform (cf description in the third part), on which these entrepreneurs would meet people who could then help them with the financial and operational aspects.

We are 6 students (Fabien, Guillaume, Xavier, Kahina, Nathalie and Faustine) located in Lille with few IT skills.

Then, our challenge is to find someone who is able to make our interactive platform.

2. Why does this problem exist?

This problem exists for mainly two reasons:

- Concerning the financing part, it is very hard for an entrepreneur to raise money on his own, because financial institutions (banks…) with the economic crises are less ready to lend money for these kinds of projects which are considered as unsafe and too much innovative because of the horizon and future that they cannot predict. Moreover, if they are ready to lend money, the interest rates are too high for the entrepreneurs and the risk is not taken by the bank but by the entrepreneur himself.

- Concerning the operational aspect, it is complicated to start an activity in good conditions when you have no money and no support. You have to do everything even if you are not specialised in this field. As a result, the tasks are not done properly as if they were made by professionals.

3. What breakthrough are you commited to creating?

We are going to create an interactive and easy-to-use platform.

First of all here are the steps to follow:

- Sign in on the platform and create an account where the entrepreneur could describe his sustainable and innovative project. He/She can also add an additional document like business plan, the funding plan, the market survey etc.…

- As it is an open source interactive platform, the files will be available for consultation by anyone. This way, financial institutions (which are subscribed on the platform) could get in contact and interact with the entrepreneurs thanks to our specialised messaging network, if they are interested in the project and want to go further and explore the application with the entrepreneurs.

- Concerning the operational side, our messaging network is one of our core businesses for the entrepreneurs and for all the potential support (helpers, potential contributors and financial institutions). From an entrepreneur point of view, it is a new way to explain his business needs (such as the creation of a logo, new ideas and the creation of a mobile app) and find people who will create emulation and a real support network.

- For potential contributors (people that are interested by innovative projects, SSE…), our messaging network is a way to interact with the entrepreneurs by giving advices and point of views. The potential contributors could also propose their skills freely or at a low-price (depending on the tasks and the extent of the project) towards the entrepreneurs to support their projects.

For instance, if an entrepreneur is looking for a loan and for designing a new logo in our interactive platform, he/she will find potential contributors like graphic students and financial institutions that will consider his/her needs and continue to the next stage of the process with him/her or not.

In short, our interactive platform would then create a bridge between today and tomorrow economy that will switch to a human-side focus.
